Lotus Blossom Clinic Expands, Adds New Classes
Deb and David Martin
The Lotus Blossom Clinic, in Fort Myers, has expanded its space to create more room for Movement Medicine and other classes, along with special events and meetings. Many types of practices and activities to foster movement are being offered in the new area, along with crystal bowl meditations on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. How movement is medicine includes the way it creates both inner joy chemicals like serotonin and inner peace, detoxes, energizes, strengthens muscles, improves balance and expands the neural network.
Sheng Zheu Form, a spiritually focused version of qigong, takes place at 10 a.m. each Wednesday, led by Jason Wechs ($15); and Kandy Love’s yoga sessions at 9 a.m. each Friday ($10 to $15 suggested love offering), along with specialty yoga classes on the first and third Thursday of most months.
Co-owner Dr. David Martin will soon begin leading a new, fun, Move ‘n Groove dance class for individuals. He’s an avid West Coast swing dancer, and has previously won at national competitions.
Location: 6710 Winkler Rd., Ste. 2. Register for crystal bowl meditations at JennyLotusBlossom@gmail.com. For more information, including all classes, call 239-277-1399, email Deb@LotusBlossomClinic.com or visit LotusBlossomClinic.com.Edit ModuleShow Tags
