Sagewood Institute Introduces New Services

Sagewood Institute, in Naples, founded by Dr. Joaquin Hernandez, is adding vitamin injections and intravenous (IV) nutrient therapy to its menu of services. “While I and my expert team of physicians, practitioners and medical aestheticians specializing in anti-aging and self-care know that nutrition is the key to life, we recognize that individuals don’t always consume the best diet. Using injections, as well as IV therapy to administer vitamins, minerals and nutrients directly into the bloodstream helps to support the body during times of stress and exhaustion, as well as acute or chronic illness,” says Hernandez.

Injections and IV drips can boost the immune system, energize the body, protect cells from disease, brighten skin, fight stress, improve mood, memory and focus, replenish electrolytes and rehydrate, detoxify, increase stamina and quick muscle recovery, help regulate digestion and the nervous system, prevent osteoporosis, reduce the risk of coronary disease, boost weight loss and burn fat.
