Local farmers and neighbors will bring their fresh tropical fruits, vegetables and other edibles, including flowers, cheese, honey and herbs, to the Riverside Community Center, 3061 Riverside Drive, in Ft. Myers, on August 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will enjoy a free tasting table, plus delectables made by local chefs.

The University of Florida/Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Lee County Extension and the Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange are sponsoring the day. Come taste and buy what’s growing in Southwest Florida.
