Babysitting Boot Camps for ages 8-10 and 11-15 will take place the week of June 2-6 at the Collier County chapter of The American Red Cross, 2610 Northbrooke Plaza Drive, in Naples.
Be Red Cross Ready Boot Camp (8-10) features emergency response skills, rescue breathing and more. Participants will receive certification in five areas: basic aid training, pet first aid, whales tales, masters of disaster and water safety.
Babysitting Boot Camp (11-15) includes babysitting training, adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator, infant and child CPR, pet first-aid, first-aid and water safety.
Camp participants will also meet firefighters and sheriff’s deputies, hear what to do in a disaster, and learn about cut and bruise care, plus some fun surprises.
