Green Village Organics Co-op Initiative

Green Village Organics is a small, community-oriented cooperative in Naples. Owners Danielle Holimon and Beth Housewert established the cooperative as a healthy, less expensive alternative to local supermarkets.

They advise that Green Village Organics has now added a $15 weekly 1-bag option of fresh, organic produce to its current $25, 2-bag offering. Both have similar assortments of fruits and veggies. Customers receive email notice of the contents of each week’s bag on Monday. Tuesday pickups are held from 2 to 8 p.m. near the intersection of Golden Gate Parkway and CR 951.

First payment is $35 for a $15 bag, or $60 for the $25 option, which includes the first two weeks of produce, plus a reusable tote bag. Newcomers’ first pickup is on the following Tuesday.

Naples, Marco Island and Bonita Springs residents are encouraged to contact the co-op and share the good news with friends and neighbors. Group pickups can be organized.
