Remembering Crosses on the Beach

Three times a year, close by the Naples Pier, local veteran John Riccio creates “Crosses on the Beach”. This Memorial Day he will recreate what refers to as Arlington South, a powerful display replete with names, flowers and flying flags, to honor fallen military personnel.
Riccio suggests that, as a memorium, we learn about the cabinet-level Department of Peace, proposed by Rep. Dennis Kucinich, to promote peace at home and abroad. Also consider sending funds to your favorite peacemaking political candidate.
